The Eagle Riders are a group of motorcyclists, comprised of men and woman of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, that have come together to promote the Fraternal Order of Eagles and its causes, by doing something that we love to do…….ride motorcycles. We do this by getting involved in Aerie and Auxiliary functions, fund raisers, and local, state and national charities supported by the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

All of the following events will take place at Aerie #2486 (80 Main Street South Glens Falls, NY 12831) unless otherwise noted.

Meetings at the 2nd Wednesday of every month.

Grill Nights will be resuming soon and will be the 3rd Thursday of the month.

Frequently asked questions

What are the requirements to join?

You MUST be a member in good standing of the Fraternal Order of Eagles
You MUST have a valid drivers license.

Do I need to have a motorcycle?

No. A motorcycle is not required.

Is it ok to drink alcohol when involved in Rider activity?

While it is not against the rules, we ask that you not consume drugs or alcohol during any Eagle Rider activities or events unless all riding is done for the day and you continue to act in a manor consistent with an Eagle Rider.

How much are dues and when are they due?

Dues are due in July. Amount is TBD

Patch etiquette and placements?

The only acceptable back patches to wear are the patches approved by the Grand Aerie. There is a 10” patch for the gentleman, a 7’ patch for the ladies, these are to display on the back of your jacket or vest. NO ROCKERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE BACK OF ANY APPAREL WORN DURING RIDES OR EVENTS.

The front should be the Flag on top left chest with Aerie 2486 under it. The same location on the right side should be your name on top and if you are an officer, your position underneath.

We are an RC, not an MC so these are guidelines and not rules. While the placement is not mandatory we ask that you follow if possible so that all members show uniformly.
